A team of Mumbai Police recently visited the residence of YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, commonly known as BeerBiceps, following the uproar caused by his comments on comedian Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. Multiple complaints were filed against Allahbadia and other participants on the show, including Samay Raina and social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, known as the Rebel Kid.
The controversy began when Allahbadia made inappropriate remarks during an episode of India’s Got Latent. His comments, which many found offensive and disrespectful, sparked widespread outrage on social media. The backlash prompted Allahbadia to issue a public apology, acknowledging the inappropriateness of his comments and requesting the show’s producers to remove the offensive segments.
Despite the apology, formal complaints were filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and the Maharashtra Women’s Commission. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) also condemned Allahbadia’s remarks, calling for a complete ban on the show and urging the entertainment industry to sever ties with those involved. The Mumbai Police investigation is ongoing, with Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and Apoorva Mukhija being asked to present their side of the story to the investigating officers.
